MATERIALITY at the UNGC training course – Sustainable development in practice

On September 17, experts from MATERIALITY ACADEMY led an educational block devoted to ESRS standards as part of a comprehensive training course entitled „Sustainable development in practice – ESG reporting training” organized by UN Global Compact Network Poland in partnership with the Copernicus Science Center.

The intensive training cycle has been designed with the real needs of companies, dynamic regulatory changes, and the high expectations of investors, customers, and the public in mind.

As part of the fourth training module:

  • Piotr Biernacki, ESG Reporting Partner at MATERIALITY, SR TEG Member at EFRAG, and Trainer at MATERIALITY ACADEMY:
    – introduced the topic of ESRS standards and explained the current shifts and prospects for future changes resulting from the Omnibus project
  • Marta Kęsik, Senior Sustainability Manager at MATERIALITY, Trainer at MATERIALITY ACADEMY:
    – presented comprehensive environmental standards ESRS E1-E5
  • Artur Gazda, Due Diligence Manager at MATERIALITY, Trainer at MATERIALITY ACADEMY:
    – discussed ESRS 1 and ESRS 2 standards and presented the assumptions and requirements of ESRS S1-S4 social standards and ESRS G1 corporate governance standards.
