They shape what I write about, because it is hard to ignore the external context. I do, however, try to distinguish trends from short-term fads, though this is a rather difficult task.<\/li><li>The second factor is my own interests. They form the filter that separates what makes it into the newsletter from what I merely notice but do not try to explore in depth. Among these, systems thinking holds particular importance. I try to show how individual elements of standards, phenomena, issues and decisions (both those taken by company boards and those made by public authorities) influence one another and shape our future reality.<\/li><li>The third factor, finally, is your expectations. I try to write about what interests you or what you need. Sometimes I get it right (I can see it in the replies to the newsletter), and sometimes I do not.<\/li><\/ul><p>That is why I would like to ask you to fill in <a href=\"https:\/\/materiality.fillout.com\/newsletter-150\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">a questionnaire about your needs and preferences<\/a>. Your responses (which I hope will be numerous, as the survey will take you at most 2\u20133 minutes) will help me better tailor the content of future editions of the newsletter.
