Frank Bold is hosting a webinar on Tuesday, May 21, 2024 from 9:30-11:00 am How to incorporate key principles into companies assessment and disclosure process. You can sign up at this address. When you sign up, you can immediately ask questions of the discussion participants, which they will try to answer if there is enough time during the event. The webinar is special in terms of the selection of discussants: among them are two members of the Sustainability Reporting TEG and two members of the Sustainability Reporting Board, meaning you will be able to gain knowledge directly from the authors of the standards. Participation in the webinar is free. This is, by the way, the first in a series of four webinars; subsequent webinars will discuss the value chain and other aspects of reporting according to the ESRS standards.
Next week, specifically on Wednesday, May 29, 2024, from 10:00-11:30 a.m., a webinar on the topic of Materiality testing in practice is organized by the Association of Stock Exchange Issuers. During this event we will try to deepen the practical aspects of organizing a materiality study, as we are already after the first season of reporting using ESRS standards. Registration for the webinar is at this address. The event is free for SEG member companies and those using an ESG subscription; a fee is charged for other participants. The webinar is part of a series on ESRS, which will cover all aspects of greenhouse gas emissions reporting under the ESRS E1 standard over a three-week period in June, and the remaining issues covered by ESRS in the following months.
If you are in Gdynia on May 23-24, 2024, it is worth going to the 4th Tri-City Green Buildings Day. The event may be of particular interest to representatives of the construction, development and real estate industries. During the conference, I will have the pleasure of talking about the Minimum Guarantees in Taxonomy and how to examine compliance with them in development projects, and Justyna Biernacka will moderate a panel discussion on sustainable finance. On this page you will find the conference program and registration information (there is a fee to attend, but the price is very affordable).
Last week, i.e. May 16, 2024, I discussed what companies need to cope with reporting according to ESRS standards. Transcript of this conference How to support companies in applying European Sustainability Reporting Standards organized by the European Commission is now available at this address.
As you can see, there are a lot of conferences, webinars and panel discussions about CSRD and ESRS. More than would fit in this issue of the newsletter. If you are hungry for knowledge about the new standards all the time (I guess we are all learning all the time?), you will definitely enrich your competence during these events. You are invited!
