ESG verification services

The MATERIALITY team of experts verifies the correctness of the indicators used in your company, the management processes implemented, the policies developed, and many other elements of the ESG management system.

Recipients of sustainability-related information, such as investors, financial institutions, or customers, expect the data provided to them to be reliable, i.e., consistent with reality. Such verification can be carried out by MATERIALITY experts who, based on many years of experience working with a diverse business environment, will review the client's data, ensuring the accuracy, quality, and transparency of the information used. As part of the verification, depending on the agreed scope of work, we will check the source data, the method of calculating individual indicators, as well as the functioning of policies and other elements of the sustainability management system.

We would like to point out that this service is not an assurance service performed by a statutory auditor. We do not perform assurance of sustainability reports prepared in accordance with the requirements of the Accounting Act and the Certified Auditors Act. We also do not provide verification services for clients with whom we cooperate or have cooperated in the last 12 months in an advisory capacity.

How will we work together?

Determining the scope of verification

We will define the scope of verification, i.e., what data and information we will check. We will also set the purpose of verification, which may be to submit a verification report to an external entity (e.g., a bank, investor, client) or an internal unit (e.g., the internal audit department or the Supervisory Board's sustainability committee).

Conducting verification

Once we have obtained all the information and primary source data, we will verify the correctness of the calculations, the existence of evidence confirming specific facts, and the processes in which the verified information was generated.

Report

We will present the conclusions of the audit in the form of a report, which will also include recommendations.

Results of cooperation

The result of the project is an opinion on the correctness of the subject of verification. The report can be used to improve internal management processes or can be forwarded to external entities awaiting it.
