Accessibility Statement

MATERIALITY Sp. z o.o. strives to ensure the accessibility of its website in accordance with the Act of April 26, 2024, on Ensuring Compliance with Accessibility Requirements for Certain Products and Services by Business Entities.

This Accessibility Statement applies to the materiality.pl website.

Website Availability Status

The website is partially compliant with the WCAG 2.1 AA guidelines (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1 AA), which specify accessibility requirements for websites and applications, due to the non-compliance listed below.

To ensure the greatest possible digital accessibility, a plugin has been implemented Ally Web Accessibility, based on the WCAG 2.1 AA guidelines. It offers features such as high-contrast mode, font enlargement, a legible font, animation pause, link highlighting, and a reading guide.

Despite the administrators' best efforts, the following non-conformities are present on the website:

  • Some buttons (including the orange call-to-action buttons and the turquoise form submission button) have insufficient contrast between the white text and the background—below the required ratio of 4.5:1.
  • Some of the small text (supporting text, captions, the link to the privacy policy below the form) has too little contrast against the light background.
  • Some decorative subheadings have reduced contrast against the background.
  • The cookie consent banner contains small text with a contrast level slightly below the required threshold and has limitations regarding full keyboard navigation (including the lack of automatic focus shifting after loading). In the future, we will consider replacing the consent management tool with a more accessible solution.

Contrast issues stem from the site’s visual identity (brand color scheme). Until these issues are resolved, users can use the high-contrast mode and text zoom features available in the accessibility widget in the lower-right corner of the page.

Preparation of an Accessibility Statement

The accessibility statement was prepared during the website redesign, after implementing a plugin that supports the WCAG 2.1 AA standard and after conducting a verification using available tools to identify any digital accessibility issues that may exist on the site.

This declaration was prepared based on a self-assessment conducted in accordance with the „Checklist for Assessing the Digital Accessibility of a Website” (version 2.2) published on the gov.pl portal and using the Google Lighthouse tool (version 12.8.2) to automatically detect accessibility issues.

Reporting Accessibility Issues

If you notice an accessibility issue on the website, you can report it to us:

In order to address your request, we will need:

  • Your first and last name,
  • Your contact information (email address or phone number),
  • detailed information about the accessibility issue you have identified (e.g., a description of the problem on the website, the URL where the issue occurs),
  • information on what would be the best way for you to solve the problem.

We will try to respond to your inquiry as soon as possible, no later than 14 days after receiving it. If we are unable to address the matter within that timeframe, we will notify you and provide a new deadline for resolving the matter.

If your report is valid, we will try to resolve the issue by making the necessary changes to the website. However, we cannot guarantee that this will be possible in every situation (e.g., due to the high cost of implementing a specific solution).

If we are unable to resolve the identified accessibility issue, we may offer you an alternative way to access the inaccessible part of the website or the inaccessible content, other than through the website.
