What does our work involve?

MATERIALITY is a sustainability consultancy. Our mission is to support companies in their transition to sustainable and regenerative business models.

We identify sustainability-related impacts, risks, and opportunities that are material for companies, and then help them manage them appropriately. We create sustainability strategies, decarbonization plans, circular transition roadmaps, and participate in their implementation. We prepare sustainability reports, account for greenhouse gas emissions, assess compliance with the EU taxonomy of environmentally sustainable activities, and help launch human rights due diligence processes. We inspire changes that are important for the company's development and help build lasting relationships with stakeholders.

We work for large public and private companies from Poland and Europe, as well as for smaller start-ups and other organizations. We have experience in industries such as construction and real estate, energy, manufacturing (including mining, automotive, electronics, food, and apparel), as well as banking, new technologies, media, and commerce, including e-commerce.

Our support is valued on the market, our reports win awards, and the members of the MATERIALITY Team act as experts in the ESG industry, educating a growing group of people looking for reliable sources of knowledge.

How we work

In the team

By joining our team, you will work with us in the office, with the option of one day of remote work per week. We typically work Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

At your own pace

We divide our working day into quiet individual work, meetings with our clients, internal training sessions, and teamwork. Most of our meetings take place online.

With concern for balance

Although we work very intensively, we want to avoid staying at work after hours; we respect our time, including our free time.

With a breath

We have reserved time for a lunch break during the day. In our kitchen, you will find good coffee, a selection of teas, healthy snacks, and fruit.

With a smile

Even with a very busy schedule, we always find time for a coffee and a chat together.

Learning-driven

Instead of Fruit Thursdays, we have Knowledge Fridays—we devote more than half of the day to organized forms of education.

Values that drive us

Our activities are based on jointly developed values, which we treat as a guide in our daily work—we use them to make business decisions, develop our team, and support our environment.

In line with the principle of „walk the talk,” we collect our non-financial data, analyze our impact on the environment, and reduce negative impacts.

Our office is located in a historic building in the city center, with easy access to public transport. There are bicycle racks in the courtyard, and in our office you will find rescued plants, furniture that we have given a second life, healthy food, and a waste scale. Together with the Forever Forest Foundation, we plant trees that have the potential to grow into a biodiverse forest in the future.
