ESG Data Analyst

We are looking for someone with experience in data collection, processing, and analysis who would like to develop their analytical skills alongside the MATERIALITY team.

Who are we looking for?

To perform your job efficiently and satisfactorily in our company in this position, you will need the following skills:

  • A bachelor's or master's degree, preferably in economics (big data, quantitative methods, management, finance and accounting, global business, and similar fields), 

  • Good command of English (minimum B2 level, C+ preferred), 

  • Intermediate or advanced knowledge of MS Excel (including logical functions, conditional formatting, linking files, importing data from external sources, nesting functions, creating and editing charts, VBA, and Power Query), 

  • At least basic skills in Power Automate and Power BI/Tableau,  

  • Proficiency in using Word, PowerPoint, and online tools—particularly survey platforms—, 

  • Experience working with data, 

  • Basic understanding of accounting concepts (primarily revenue, CapEx, and OpEx in accordance with IAS/IFRS),

Job description

Collaboration with consultantem or a specialistą in the field of consulting on sustainable development, customer contact, in namely:  

  • participating in status meetings, 

  • conducting meetings and training sessions on ESG data,  

  • Carrying out work in accordance with project schedules. 

Report in terms of data and indicators project materials for analyses, research, workshops, and presentations, including: 

  • collecting and consolidating ESG data for the purposes of advisory services provided to clients, such as sustainability reporting, monitoring strategy implementation, etc., 

  • developing tools for collecting and consolidating ESG data using software and IT systems, including MS Office and other tools that support the delivery of services offered by MATERIALITY, 

  • calculation of indicators based on collected data and external data, 

  • ensuring the accuracy of the collected data and calculated metrics, 

  • preparing analyses of ESG data with regard to their completeness and conclusions, 

  • collection, consolidation, and processing of financial data for the purpose of assessing compliance with the European Union Taxonomy, 

  • calculating companies’ carbon footprints across three categories based on established standards and methodologies, developing or co-developing a decarbonization plan, 

  • searching for and analyzing source materials (reports, articles, academic publications, legal provisions). 

Remuneration

Your remuneration consists of a fixed monthly salary resulting from your employment contract, occasional bonuses, non-wage benefits (benefit program), and free access to MATERIALITY ACADEMY courses. 

We determine salaries based on the pay scale for each employment level. We provide salary ranges for each level. We apply the principle of „equal pay for equal work.” Salaries are determined solely by factors such as professional competence or experience resulting from the specific nature of a given position. We review salary levels once a year. 

We discuss the details of the compensation package with candidates during the first interview.
