The European Commission has issued a so-called corrigendum (Corrigendum) to Delegated Regulation No. 2023/2772 introducing the first set of ESRS standards. The Corrigendum contains dozens of minor changes to the content of the standards. They concern erroneous references to individual paragraphs, corrections in numbering and the removal of typos. There are no changes among them that affect the substance of the reporting standards. Unfortunately, today the changes made are available in the form of a list, but in time a consolidated version of the regulation will be made public (that is, the amendments will be made directly to the content of the standards). Corrigendum did not make changes to the mistranslated language versions. To our knowledge, the Commission's services are still working on correcting the translations, but the date when we will finally see them is unknown.
On May 16, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., the European Commission is organizing a conference Supporting companies in applying the European Sustainability Reporting Standards. The conference framework and registration form are available on this page. Registration for in-person participation is already closed, but the conference will be streamed online. I encourage you to sign up and participate ?
Meanwhile, in Poland, we finally lived to see a draft law that will implement the provisions of the CSRD into Polish law. On April 19, 2024, the following was published on the portal of the Government Legislation Center bill, which has been sent for public consultation. It is worth reading it, because there is a high probability that this is the form in which the legislation will be enacted.
In addition, the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Funds and Regional Policy are organizing a webinar as early as April 25, 2024 to discuss the draft law implementing the CSRD regulations. Detailed information on the webinar and the registration form are available on this page.
