Regulations are changing, but the need for reliable data and transparency remains. On September 16, experts from MATERIALITY will share their practical experience during a training session on ESG reporting organized by the UN Global Compact Network Poland in collaboration with the Warsaw School of Economics (SGH).

ESG remains a key component of organizational management, regardless of regulatory changes. We can debate terminology, simplify regulations, or postpone implementation deadlines. However, this does not change the fact that organizations must continue to manage risks, build stakeholder trust, and base business decisions on reliable data. 

That is why the experts at MATERIALITY, Piotr Biernacki, Managing Partner for Sustainability, and Marta Kęsik, Senior Sustainability Manager, will join the lineup of speakers at the third edition of the ESG reporting training session organized by UN Global Compact Network Poland in cooperation with the Warsaw School of Economics.  

This year’s edition has been updated to reflect the latest regulatory changes and practical challenges organizations face today. The program covers, among other topics, current regulations and reporting standards, a step-by-step guide to preparing an ESG report, working with an auditor, and credible ESG communication.  

September 16 Piotr Biernacki and Marta Kęsik They will lead a workshop on ESRS and VS standards and their practical application. Participants will work on how to translate reporting requirements into processes, data, and responsibilities within the organization, as well as how to prepare for working with an auditor and obtaining an ESG report attestation.  

In an era of dynamic regulatory changes, sustainability reporting remains more than just a formal obligation. It is a tool for building credibility and trust in relationships with investors, customers, business partners, financial institutions, and employees. Transparent reporting helps organizations demonstrate that their sustainability commitments are reflected in concrete actions and results.  

At MATERIALITY, we believe that today we need fewer debates about labels and more practical discussions about how sustainability supports the day-to-day management of an organization and the creation of long-term value.
