During the event Kamil Wyszkowski, Executive Director and Country Representative of UN GCNP, presented UNGC's global strategy for 2026.
The meeting was accompanied by the premiere of UNGC report „Europeans” perceptions of sustainability" based on the results of a survey conducted by UN Global Compact networks in 15 European Union countries (including Poland) and the United Kingdom.
„The survey shows a consistent and unambiguous perception of the importance of sustainability across Europe:
- 80% of respondents believe that sustainable development should be one of the top priorities for the European Union and national governments.
- 85% of those surveyed recognize business sustainability regulations as essential to building a sustainable and resilient economy.
- 75% of respondents indicate that both governments and companies need to devote more resources to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).”
