MATERIALITY at Future with EMAS

December 2, 2025
On November 6-7, 2025, Warsaw hosted an international conference devoted to the future of environmental management systems in Europe – Future with EMAS.

EMAS (Eco-Management and Audit Scheme) is an environmental management and audit system for companies and other organizations that voluntarily commit to assessing their environmental impact and improving their environmentally friendly activities. EMAS was established 30 years ago and began operating in Poland 10 years later.

The aim of the Future with EMAS conference was to show how EMAS can be combined in practice with sustainable development management: environmental reporting, chemical risk management, and implementation of the Industrial Emissions Directive.

The event was attended by MATERIALITY experts:
🔹 Agata Bińczyk, Senior Sustainability Specialist,
🔹 Wiktoria Klimek, Sustainability Specialist & Data Analyst,
🔹 Monika Lis, Sustainability Specialist & Data Analyst,
🔹 Suzannah von Nathusius, Junior Sustainability Specialist.

They will be able to use the knowledge they have gained in their daily work with MATERIALITY clients, streamlining sustainable development management processes.
