This is the third edition of the ESG Eagles competition organized by the Rzeczpospolita daily newspaper. The competition analyzes data from non-financial reports broken down into the following indicators: climate issues, wage non-discrimination, fair remuneration, employee safety, respect for consumer rights and the free market, environmental safety, and taxes. On this basis, a list of candidates for the award is selected, and the competition jury decides on the winner. When making its decision, the jury takes into account actions for sustainable development and green transformation confirmed by the indicators.
The Rzeczpospolita website provides the rationale for awarding Polenergia the ESG Eagle.:
“The ESG Eagle was awarded for preparing a voluntary report in line with the demanding EU ESRS standards, which is an important step towards greater transparency and accountability in the energy sector. As a leader in sustainable development, the company actively promotes best practices and cares for the environment. The report not only meets rigorous standards, but also inspires other companies, encouraging them to take action for a sustainable future and responsible business.”
We would like to extend our warmest congratulations to Polenergia! We are delighted to be able to follow the path of sustainable development together. We would also like to congratulate the other award winners: Dr. Miele Cosmed Group, CD PROJEKT SA, Inter Cars S.A., and Elemental Holding SA (Elemental Group).
