On June 17–18, 2026, the Copernicus Science Center in Warsaw hosted the ESG Ideas Fair, organized by the Responsible Business Forum. As MATERIALITY, we served as a Content Partner and Exhibitor Partner (with the PowerESRS app) for this unique event. Piotr Biernacki led workshops on simplified ESRS standards, and our team had the unique opportunity to hear from a special guest at the fair—John Elkington.

John Elkington at the ESG Ideas Fair

John Elkington, one of the pioneers of sustainability and the creator of the concept of the Triple Bottom Line, was a guest ESG Ideas Fair 2026 organized by Responsible Business Forum. On the first day, June 17, he spoke twice: during the keynote speech „THE NEXT STAGE IN THE SUSTAINABILITY REVOLUTION. Why the anti-ESG movement shows that we are winning” and in the panel discussion „Instead of a Conclusion – Big Ideas, Small Steps” with Irena Pichola, Chairwoman of the Board of the Responsible Business Forum, and Dr. Bolesław Roka, professor at Kozminski University. We invite you to learn more Piotr Biernacki’s newsletter from June 22, “The Ideas of John Elkington”, in which Piotr refers to John's presentations at the trade show. You can read John’s first-hand reflections in his newsletter—we encourage you to subscribe.

“(…) for the first time, Polish sustainability experts had the opportunity not only to hear his views on the future of this field, but also to ask questions and exchange views.” - Piotr Biernacki, Sustainability Managing Partner at MATERIALITY

Booth PowerESRS w zone innovation

As an Exhibitor Partner at the 11th edition of the ESG Ideas Fair 2026, we presented PowerESRS – an ESG reporting app that we developed in collaboration with the company Netwise. PowerESRS operates in a Microsoft environment, ensuring maximum data security and compatibility with other Microsoft tools. Importantly and uniquely, PowerESRS is already adapted to simplified ESRS standards. Come and get More information about PowerESRS and Sign up for a free demo

On the second day of the fair, June 18, the Innovation Pitch sessions took place—presentations of innovations in the exhibition area. Artur Gazda, Due Diligence Manager and R&D Lead at MATERIALITY, gave a concise presentation on PowerESRS—explaining how the tool works, its features, and its capabilities.

Workshop on Simplified ESRS Standards

This year’s ESG Ideas Fair was held under the theme „Big Ideas, Small Steps” and combined discussions on the most important challenges facing business with practical workshops designed to develop the skills needed to implement ESG in organizations.

Piotr Biernacki led a workshop on simplified ESRS standards. He presented the basic principles and practical aspects of sustainability reporting based on the new ESRSs. He placed particular emphasis on implementing these principles in management practice.

The MATERIALITY Team at the ESG Ideas Fair 2026

Thanks to a decision by our Board of Directors, the entire the MATERIALITY band could attend the trade show as visitors.

“Looking back, it was a valuable and interesting experience for me. On the one hand, I helped organize our company’s booth, but above all, I was able to attend many excellent presentations and panel discussions (on topics ranging from digital responsibility and energy transition to equal opportunities in business).” - Marlena Lis-Błaszczak, Administration Specialist at MATERIALITY

“I have to admit that I haven’t been to a conference in quite a while, and I’d forgotten just how nice it feels to meet with a group of sustainability experts. It’s not just about sharing best practices, but also about bolstering each other’s morale in this daily „struggle” against a business system that—as comes as no surprise to anyone—is focused primarily on building capital.” Magdalena Błachowiak, Sustainability Specialist at MATERIALITY
