MATERLITY at SEG Webinars: The ESG Reporting Framework Following the Omnibus Act

MATERIALITY experts will participate in a series of webinars on sustainability reporting following the Omnibus Directive, organized by the Association of Stock Exchange Issuers.

MATERIALITY experts will participate in the webinars: 

Webinar: „Simplified ESRS—What Changes to Expect After the Full ESRS” October 7, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. 

During the webinar, Olga JabłońIn a discussion moderated by Małgorzata Szewc, Vice President of the SEG Board of Directors, she will take a closer look at simplifications in the significance test, answering, among other things, the following questions:  

  • What aspects have been simplified in the DMA and the so-called “mix”?  
  • How to transition in practice from DMA under full ESRS to simplified DMA  
  • Are there any benefits for issuers in Wave 1?.  

Piotr Biernacki will speak with Anna Węgrzyn, ESG Manager at PKF Consult, about accurate presentation, covering topics such as: 

  • Definition of “fair presentation” and requirements in the Simplified ESRS 
  • Individual Responsibility  
  • The auditor's approach. 

Webinar: „How and What to Report—The Basics: ESRS 1 and ESRS 2” October 14, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. 

During the second webinar in the series, Artur Gazda will analyze The path from the results of the significance test to specific disclosures. In a conversation with Małgorzata Szewc, the following topics were discussed: 

  • Selection of Relevant Information 
  • Decision on Specific Disclosures 
  • Other Basic Reporting Principles. 

Webinar: „Scope of Reporting – Environment: ESRS E1–E5” October 28, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. 

At the meeting, Piotr Biernacki will lead two discussions. First, he will speak with Patrycja Żupa-Marczuk, Head of the Sustainable Development Team at Energopomiar, and together they will examine the issue of pollutionń and water taking into account: the scope of disclosures regarding pollutants and the scope of disclosures regarding water, as well as practical guidelines. 

In the second interview, Piotr Biernacki will speak with Dr. Magdalena Krupka-Milewicz, Chief Specialist for Environmental Analysis at Energopomiar, o biodiversity, ecosystems, and the circular economy. The session will cover disclosures related to biodiversity, ecosystems, and the circular economy, as well as practical guidance for reporting entities. 

Webinar: „Scope of Reporting—ESRS: Labor, Social, and Governance” November 10, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. 

Sonia Kortas will discuss the topic “”affected communities, consumers, and end users" in terms of the scope of disclosures under S3, the scope of disclosures under S4, and disclosuresń specific. 

Piotr Biernacki, meanwhile, will speak with Lucyna Seretny, ESG Manager at PKF Consult, on corporate governance and business practices. During the meeting, they will discuss the following topics: 

  • Reporting on Policies, Actions, and Goals 
  • Governance Indicators 
  • The information needs of financial institutions and investors.

„Voluntary Standard” Webinar” November 18, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. 

During the webinar on VS, Marta Kęsik, in a discussion moderated by Magdalena Raczek-Kołodyńska, Vice President of the Executive Board at SEG, will analyze VS Basic Module. The following topics will be covered: 

  • Basic Disclosures and Environmental Issues 
  • Labor Issues and Governance 
  • Are the basic disclosures sufficient?. 

Piotr Biernacki will lead a discussion with Anna Węgrzyn, ESG Manager at PKF Consult, About the VS Advanced Module. In the interview, they will take a closer look at:  

  • Business Model and Broader Environmental Disclosures 
  • Broader disclosures regarding employees and governance 
  • The scope of data covered by „information security.”.  

Webinar: „Transposition of the Omnibus Directive and the Relationship Between the Simplified ESRS and the Voluntary Standard” November 25, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. 

In the latest webinar in the series “ESG Reporting Frameworks After the Omnibus Act,” Piotr Biernacki spoke with Magdalena Raczek-Kołodyńska will discuss the topic of voluntary reporting, indicating which standard to choose in specific situations. It will also address issues related to the voluntary nature of the standard, the matter of certification, and the role of the voluntary report in an issuer’s annual reporting
