By the water, with new energy and talent on board

September 14, 2026
At the end of August, the MATERIALITY team gathered at Lake Zegrze for its annual team-building and professional development retreat. Two days of discussions, reflections, sailing, and working with Gallup’s talent team provided an opportunity to strengthen relationships and look toward the future from a new perspective.

Every year, at the end of summer vacation, we get together under the banner of Dream Team MATERIALITY. It’s a time when we pause for a moment, reflect on our shared achievements, and look ahead to the next challenges with renewed energy.

We spent this year’s trip at Lake Zegrze. We devoted the first day to internal presentations and discussions about the company’s future direction. After the business portion, we swapped the conference room for the decks of sailboats and set out on a group cruise.

The second day was focused on personal and team development. The workshop, led by Izabela Antosiewicz, a certified trainer from the Gallup Institute, helped us better understand our natural talents and strengths. By working with the results of the CliftonStrengths® assessment, we discovered how to make more effective use of our individual potential and how to collaborate even more effectively as a team.

Those two days by the water were filled with inspiring conversations, new perspectives, and a pleasant atmosphere. We’re returning with a fresh dose of motivation and a better understanding of our strengths. We’re heading into the next season with renewed energy. See you on the path to sustainability.
