The Forest Forever Foundation It repurchases forest land after logging, and among other things, we planted silver birch, sessile oak, small-leaved lime, Norway maple, European beech, bird cherry, hornbeam, wild apple, single-necked hawthorn, rowan, black elder, and wild pear trees.
An area planted with a variety of local species has a good chance of developing into a biodiverse forest, where other plants and animals will gradually appear, creating a rich ecosystem that is more resistant to climate change than a single-species commercial pine forest.
We would like to thank the entire team for their commitment and for being part of real action for biological diversity! 😊
