Tri-City Green Buildings Day 2023 - The conference organized by WSP and the Costa Project is a rarity - primarily due to the atmosphere of sincerity and directness emanating from the stage and the audience. You won't hear corporate pitu-pit dripping with ESG, there is instead a heated substantive discussion, the speakers have opinions, the developers are candid, and all in the spirit of a guerrilla-revolutionary approach to sustainability laced with a powerful dose of humor.
Today we had the opportunity to hear a sobering presentation by Joanna Rayss on the place of biodiversity in our thinking about sustainable building, followed by a no less interesting discussion with Bartek Felski, Monika Szewczyk and Kamil Jawgiel on the importance of ecosystems in the city.
In the responsible business block, I had the pleasure of sharing with the audience the latest news about Taxonomy and its impact on the construction industry, and then listen to a candid conversation between Dorota Bartosz, BEng, PhD, and Katarzyna Gruszecka - Spychała, Agnieszka Kalinowska-Sołtys, Aneta Król, Dariusz Prasek, Dariusz Stasik about what sustainable actions investors are willing to take and what really motivates them.

The third block dealt with the topic of GOZ, which is becoming increasingly important in the design and use of buildings.
If you haven't yet been to Gdynia for the Tri-City Green Buildings Day, book next May, because it's worth it 🙂
Ewa Kowalska-Ocneanu, Wioletta Fabrycka, Maciej Gwozdz, Anna Wadlewska, WSP in Poland and Costa Project teams, thank you for the invitation!
